Instructions to use Master Data

Master Data Information: Key Details for All Submodules

The following information applies to all submodules within the Master Data module:

• Adding Facilities/Entities: When adding any facility (Company or Customer), Transporter, Product, etc., include all relevant locations or details.
• Unique Reference ID: Each entry (facility, transporter, product, etc.) is identified by a unique Reference ID.
• ERP Integration: For seamless integration with your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, use the same ID in the TMS as you use in your ERP. This consistency is essential for accurate data exchange.
• Stored Details: The system stores various details for each entry, including:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Contact details (including Point of Contact or PoC)
  • Other relevant information specific to the type of entry (e.g., operating hours for facilities, product dimensions for products).
